How to Schedule / Details / The Process
Scheduling:
If you decide you'd like us to
take your pictures, call us at (419 271 8912 - leave message) or email:
cadams9200@yahoo.com From there
we'll schedule a date and time. We'll get contact info from you as well as
your address.
Payment:
Payment, for any job we do, is due in full on the day of shooting.
For weddings, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule and
secure your date. The rest of the balance is due by no later than one week
before the wedding date. PayPal is accepted, but there will be a markup to
compensate for the fee it costs us.
ALL SALES are subject to COUNTY SALES TAX!
Where's the studio? We
don't maintain a studio - our equipment is portable and we bring the
"studio" to you. We only need about a 10x12 area - it can be in your house,
basement or garage - as long as you have electrical service. The
lighting in that area DOES NOT MATTER - the settings we use and the studio
lights all but drown out ambient light.
Proofs: We do our proofing
online, www.clgphotoproofs.com.
Each photo is a low resolution version of the original TIFF
file we keep and later convert to JPG for your CD and print package. Each
photo has a name, like "IMG_4322". That's the number
you tell us you want for a particular print that comes with your package.
The Senior Package includes a proof book that is meant as a
bonus. The pictures in the book are relatively small but most people so far
have really liked the book. The website should be the main source for
proofing.
There are NO RETAKES of photographs. During your session, we
spend a multitude of time with you to achieve your goals. If you have an
idea for a picture, let us know during your session. Also being a digital
photography business, there is no need for retakes. We charge for our time,
traveling, and processing of your pictures. That is how we are able to keep
our costs low.
Ordering:
When you've selecting which images you'd like for the prints in your
package, we ask that you email those numbers along with quantities. Email
provides a digital archive as well as a paper trail to help with ordering
accuracy. Remember that wallets come in multiples of 4. When your prints are
delivered to us we inspect and repackage them, and deliver them to you,
along with a written receipt and your data CD of the full res picture files.
You can order additional prints through us if you'd like.
There are NO REFUNDS!
Ordering UPDATE:
Starting in October, we're going to require that you make your package print
choices within 1 month of your proofs being completed online.
It's not fair to current customers if we have to take time out to
upload/crop/order your prints that were available months ago.
In addition to delaying current customer processing, storing
multiple gigabytes worth of picture files for months ties up much needed
hard drive space. So, if we do not receive
your print order within a month of proof completion, we will no longer be
obligated to provide you with prints listed in your package.
You'll still get your CD of picture files. Since we give you the picture
files, the decision process should not take longer than a month.
